Default New guy but not new to clods saying hi(pics)

I came across this site from Pirate4x4 and am a big clod fan. i used be a member on rcmt a few years back but was removed.... but i like the look of this place and have been lurking around a bit. so i just wanted to say hey and post a few pics of my trucks.
the black truck is a brass tubed chassis with locked cases and thundertech super gear reduction units, Monster Pirate rims and Jumbo kongs.
the 8x8 was hand built by me using 4 brand new clod cases, aluminum powdercoated chassis, alum links, 8 4400 batteries, thundertech servo mounts, 8 wheel steering( the rear 4 and front 4 move independent from eachother for dog tracking or rear steer if you want only. Dickie Unimog cab bought brand new from over seas with working lites all around. control box behind cab houses 2 super roosters and radio being cooled by a fan mounted. as you can see the tires are dry rotted up front from sitting a for about 4 years. i ran this thing twice after completing it and its sat ever since in my closet in new condition. ive been thinking about selling it for some extra cash but cant put a price on it without thinking about the hours that went into it. thanks for looking.

That 8x8 is sweet. What's the overall length?

Welcome to the board. Looks like it's time for you to build a crawler!!

on the 8x8? yeah i havent looked at that thing in a while and the tires are blown out ..literally. dry rot. the front is the heaviest part of the truck and it squats. i dont run foam and that probably had something to do with it. those were brand new tires too.
