Default stock clodbuster kit

besides the axles what is worth having from a stock clod buster kit?, wouldn't you just nab the axles and maybe the body if you waned it and then build it up with all different parts, I started out with just axles so I dont know what the whole truck has on it, thats worth keeping. Do the axles come locked stock?

you said it right. the only thing worth keeping is the axles and body. if you wanted a stock clod later on down the line maybe it will be worth keeping. the axles don't come locked. i use jb weld to lock my axles.

I'd go with finding a set of axles and body and perhaps the parts bags for the kit. I had to run back and forth to home depot for tiny screws/nuts until i purchased the three parts bags (A, B, and C) from a vendor here. All the screws and nuts i will need are in there.

My buddy paid $220 for a clod buster kit just for the axles....kinda wasted some $$ there.

The axles, and all the screws and clips that you take out of it. Those are the parts bags and worth a few $$ on their own.

Don't forget those wheels and tires. Not useful for a crawler, but can be fun to throw on other trucks, or great for just bashing around. Probably worth $30-40 on their own.
