Wasn't Kamikaze trying to build a Hydro steer clod? Do a search for 'Kamikaze hydro clod', and it might turn up. |

Are you sure it was a Clod. JIA has a Hydro scorpion with TXT or Jugg axles.

I'm interested in this as well. I have been wanting to build a scale monster truck such as Gravedigger. But I want the full scale deal, and need hydro steer if possible.

I have seen someone on Tamiya club do something similar. Instead of using liquid like hydraulic fluid, he used cables that were incased (almost like bicycle cables but smaller) and used a servo. He used it on a crawler he built, i forget his name but i will look for him. Edit** I found it Here's a link to tamiya club http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_m...=39608&id=2707 Last edited by CanadianCrawler; 05-06-2007 at 01:39 PM. |

Unless you have a way to buy on the local German economy you'll have a hard time getting the parts...Leimbach no longer sells to the US. Challenger Hobbies (out of NY if I remember correctly) used to import Leimbach stuff. I had a friend work a deal for meso I could get the parts. When I built that rig the cost of the hydraulic components was about $800. | |

Yup, still have it. Build threads are on here, a search should reveal them. |
