| Plastic drive hex.
It's the end of the TTR Straight axle kit the drives the wheel. Like the Splined brass hex on a stock clod stub axle. People thet have the TTR straight axle will know what I'm tallking about.... I hope. It's the only plastic part on the kit. Which I think is kinda dumb, but I bought it anyway.

Its the wheel hub part on the outer end of the shaft. I would call TTR and see what they say about it, they'll prob send you more for free.

Yep, I have stripped a few of them myself. Try contacting TTR and see if they will start making Alumn one. Other then that. Change over to 14mm. I'm changing my 2.2 Over to 14mm as we speak. I'm tried of dealing with 12mm's.

They've got progressively weaker as the production has gone on. The originals had steal inner hexes, and I believe aluminum outers. The second gens like I had used the stock brass inner hexes which strip quite often under brushless power and aluminum outers, they do steer tighter than the first gens by I think 5 degrees though. The third gens use the stock brass inners and the crumby plastic outers and steer the same as the second gens. I guess TTR is trying to improve the profitability of their product. | |
