Default my first chassis

ok crawlers let me know what you think of it. i made my own main chassis, lower shock mounts and the wheel spacers etc. all parts are made out of aluminum. i'm still in the process of narrowing my rims but i'm gonna post more as it comes together.
thanks, hope to get some thoughts on this

Thumbs up

Looks nice, I like the cross in the chassis plates. I would try to trim up the bottom of the lower shock mounts, they'll get hung up on the rocks.

looks pretty good how come you have those long peices coming way off the frame after the shocks? you could chop those off to save a little weight and just to make it look a little cleaner
otherwise nice looking rig

thanks for the info guys, i'll be rounding off the bottoms of the shock mounts and for the lenght of the chassis in the front and back i was going to use those to attatch either a full cage or the possibility of a custom lightweight aluminum body. i work in a sheet metal fabrication shop so i can pretty much make what i need. thanks for taking a look at it.

thanks superduty, the pic is taken kinda crooked, it actually sits pretty level when you look from the side. those lower shock mounts were a pain to make , had to drill and tap those small parts then scew together 2 halves(.125 &.090 aluminum) then drill a hole through to accomidate the rod and have it clamp down. the wheel spacers interlock with the hub and get screwed directly to the stock clod rims with small amount of drilling, i'm gonna make up a few and put them on ebay to see how they sell
