I take the rig out for some testing today.the truck did great.alittle more flex then I like but non the less im very happy with it.I only stripped a 5955 servo and broke an axle tube so it was a good day.I also got my jp knuckles and 6t pinions.the motor did stall out perrty easy with the 8t/9t gearing I was running but I think the 6t pinions will help with that.I need to mod the axle cases to get the pinion to fit right.they are only half way engaged

Decided to keep the feel of the brushed motors in there for the comp?

It is always best to drive what you are familiar with during a comp. Once you get some time to play around, I suggest gearing as slow as possible and using more voltage to get your wheelspeed back.

Nope, you will spend more time wrenching on them than driving.

A guy here just put 3025's in his clod, I was talking on the phone with him for like 5 minutes when he fired it up, in that time he shredded all the gears in the axles and ripped the motor clean off the axle.

Integy just came out with a metal gear set. Might want to get that if you are doing brushless.
