Default My first Super...

Thought I'd post up some pics of my new super, never had one before, and quickly discovering it is completely different than running a 2.2. Anyway, have a look, post your thoughts.

Since this pic I made a couple subtle changes to the chassis, I sloped the rear lower section back a little and added some custom double bent rear links. No panels yet, not until I am happy with all the link mount positions, etc.

It's obviously a drooper, upgraded 55T lathes, Mamba Max, 2 cell LiPo, 8711 servos, external BEC. Axial beadlocks, Moab XLs, Kreepy foams, CVD;s, JP aluminum knuckles, RC4WD aluminum front tubes, metal gears, etc. It works really well, but it won't see it's first comp until later this month where I can really see how it compares to the rest of the supers in WARCRC. The whole idea is to rival the breakover of the sticks in the club.

I haven't measured yet, but it's center height is slightly lower than a Stick, and the length of the break over point is a little shorter, but very very close.

That rig is sick looking, do you have any other shots to show flex yet?

I actually don't think I do, I am not a fan of big flex, so those pics don't impress me. I can twist one axle to just under 45 degrees before the other starts to lift.

What width are you planning on? (Outside of tire to outside of tire)

It's actually really wide, about 16" total. The adapters I am using for the Axials are quite wide as well. In fact, if I were to run knuckle packs, they would be completely exposed.
