| Pinion size and DIG??
So i'm running 55t Integys, 8t pinions, MoabXls, and duel Mambas with 100% drag brake. Problem is, sometimes the 55t lathes are not strong enough to hold the rear end when in dig. Would a pinion change make much of a difference? and would i go up or down? I think the end result will be a set of Crawlmasters or BM16s, but any help until then would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks.. |

I'm running duel Rooster crawlers with 45 turn hand wounds and 7 tooth . mine holes pretty good if you are on real high traction rocks it helps to turn your rear wheels away from the way you want to go . oh I'm running 40S Moabs also . I ran a single Mamba Max for 2 comps this year . I will say the drag Brake on the Roosters hold better (but it might just be that I'm running 2 of them)

6 tooths will help alot, BM-16's will make it hard to turn with your hand! |

I'm running Dual MM's 65t on 11.1v and 8t f/r... I've set up Rear Gear Mesh a little tighter and used thicker gear Lube. Seems to work pretty well. It's not has nice as Brushless. But I like the control of brushed motors over Brushless any day.
