the wheel base is 17 1/2, the ground clearance is 3 3/4, the diff clearance is 2 1/4, and we dont have wideners on it yet. just the ttr 12-14mm adapts. just turned the stock tmaxx rims around. shes a stickler on what her tires were. so we bought the k-rocks from imex(cause she liked em), so since they arent 40 series like mine we are buyin the maximizer 3/4 in offset beadlocks and the integy 12-14 mm wideners. not a bad truck for tinkerin in the hobby shop for day

The shocks are for a E savage, but they are to weak

I want a cross over between a crawler and a basher.

Try the HotBody shocks for Nitro Savage. I think they will work for you...

I have looked for the Savaga shocks, they are longer then the E Savage shock.
I think thats no solution, i think i go try to fit the shocks at the lower links.

And a small update on the under links, they are now 8mm alu.

They are now large enough to mount the shockmounts.

excav8rguy

What is the wheel base and the ground clearance ?

And what kind of wheel wideners are you using ??[/quote]

excav8rguy
I cant wait to get my TLT chassis Clod working ...it will be my first ever crawler...so I could not wait sorry to bother you I know you are busy with making such nice rigs ... I would be grateful if you tell me which parts I should purchase or make to have similar suspension as the one on your daughters crawler...

At the moment I have ;
2x Clod Axles (all stock)
2x TLT chassis plates
2x Blue Bird BMS-630MG super torque servos
1x Futaba MC330CR ESC

but I am totally lost :?for the rest of build ...I have decided to follow your pictures as to try to achieve a similar build to it!
What length/size are the links?Should I make my own?Same questions for the steering system links?
Which shocks?
Anything vital to the build that I have missed to ask?
Please help a desperate man from falling to his knees:-( to crawl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default here is mine

I am narrowing it more today...

it will wear Masher XL's most likely and I am on the lookout for shocks ... the motors are Atlas 70t on the way...Stock Clod tires will be for testing at the start... this thread helped to build it !
