Default little help

where do u wanna go with this?

comp crawler
trail basher
mud bogger
scale?
there are many more

this all depends
on where u want to go with the project and what you should buy

if ur gunna keep that frame i think you should remove everything off of it
file all the welds or brazes to be very smooth re braze or weld any joints that dont look strong enough and paint the frame with a primer and a flat color of your choice.

that and lock the axles and setup the steering

you dont need 8 maxx size shock u can be fine with 4 maxx sized shocks with soft or medium springs depending on type of rig this is going to be and the weight since its a tuber

or u can save up and get a good setup of shocks with aluminum threaded shocks where u can set the spring rate to whatever u want it to be and these are easier to rebuild

i like the duratrax evader rear shocks andonized blue
team associated shock oils
and team losi super soft white buggy springs

thats what i run on my comp crawler

and tires depends on what u want to turn the truck into
for now keep what u got and work on other things

trail basher / scale
i bilt that frame but i still need to add body / shock mounts and i still need to sand it and ill have it Powter coated
for shocks the Duratrax are bit on the short for a 1/6 scale truck but i do have a nice set 4 rear and 2 f off the buggy
