Default rear motor stalling help please

i have rokclod3 made by roktoy. and im running mp tires and mm motors and a sr esc. my problm is that whean the front axil go's up a rock the rear motor dies and i have just front wheel drive....and if i go up a rock in reverse the front dies. a talked to another local crawler and showd him he said maybe its beacuse i have no compaserters on theam. my lhs told me if its not gliching i do not need compaciters and they will not fix my problm. he said (lhs guy) that one motor is not getting enof joice. i have my motors wired so positive esc wire go's rear negitive gos front and i got a wire running betwen the 2 motors. should i rewire my motors in a differnt way or should i just say i got dud mm....beacuse i did get theam from hua right out of the bag onto my truck so they should be perfect.

Sounds like your motors are wired in series, no good.

Wire them in parallel.

run a wire from front motor + to rear motor +
run a wire from front motor - to rear motor -

then run your esc wires to either motor (which ever is closer)

Will it make any performance difference if the ESC wires go to the front or rear motor? You'd think the motor recieving the power first would have a slight advantage as far as recieving juice. Does this actually translate out into a noticable effect when driving?

Only if your wires joining the motors is undersized. If you use some good 14 or 12 gauge wire I doubt you'd see any difference.

Run both of the ESC wires to the rear motor, and then run wires connecting the + and - of both motors like Ace suggested. This will help with the rear motor stall. Keep in mind that it only helps it, you will still get some stalling but not as bad.

The motor with the less resistance will try and take the most power from the ESC, thats why you/we with clods get motor stall. This is why you are getting the rear to stall going up forward, and the front to stall going up backwards. By wireing the esc to the rear motor you will lessen the chance of rear stall.

Oh, and as Ace said use GOOD 14 or 12 gage wire.
