Hello,

I have a question about the Integy chassis, the question is quit easy.. is it any good for a crawler

I don't drive competition, just backyard and holiday crawling.

Be nice to see it together as a roller. All the manufactures are jumping on the crawler wagon I guess. Ill have to look into this one since Im looking for a backyard crawler.

It's been on there site for a few months. I believe. It seems to be a Torsion style Chassis.

I've seen it on their site, but they should have an assembled pic. As it sits you have to imagine what it looks like and how it will perform

Well I've been looking at this kit for a while myself for my clod build. And the quality looks pretty good and it has pretty much the same basic parts as most kits do. For the money I think it goes for 139 I would certainly consider it. The way the chassis plates look, you could go scale or 2.2 with it. Let us know if you buy and I will likewise and see how it builds and performs.

Just looks like a reworked Juggy chassis to me.

Parts look nice. However, I too would like to see an assembled pic before ordering something. Its not a bad price, but I would be leary of it since no one has tried it.

Good Luck

Yah - notice the little sway bars. I'd like to see some one try it.

Kinda "blingy" looking isn't it? Probably OK for bashing.

from what i have seen of the kit, it doesnt work well. the aluminum ball ends restrict alot of movement in the suspension. A friend of mine has purchased the kit and is only going to use the chassis. the links are just to stiff. the only way we found we could get them to allow us the movement needed to even make 50 degrees of flex was to back off the lock down nuts and let the ball ends move freely on the rod. it works a little, but certainly not acceptable for the quality of parts Integy should be producing. I myself have never bought a single integy product i didnt break with ten minutes of use, so i dont think its a great investment. just my two cents.

I have just rebuild my BullHead with this integy chassis, but the rod end's are not so flexibel, replace the rod end's and you have an awesome working chassis.
