Motor condition? brushes worn out, cleaned comms? also how are the motors wired to the esc? is this the first time you ran this rig? or did it run well before and know it's starting to do this? also have you tried reprogramming the esc? Also maybe try some different battery packs.

the motors are brand new. they are wired one motor to each input of esc. the truck didnt have this problem 6 months ago with the axle snapper motors. its been sitting for the 6 months, finally get time to play with it.The front motor i swap the wiring(positive to neg and neg to positive) dont know if thats the way to do it or should the motor be timed? The batterys are the venom racing. I havent tried reprograming the esc, didnt know u could this is all new stuff to me. thanks again for the info and help

I had the same problem. The problem is with your speed control, it only has a BEC rating of 1.5 amps, where as high power servos can draw upwards of two amps or more. Since the speed control cannot supply the power to the servos, it shuts down untill the power is fixed. what you have to do is remove the red wire from the speed control and run a separate receiver pack. short of buying a new speed control with a high output BEC, this would be the most cost effective choice.

I thought the same thing... Although you can always buy a separate BEC regulator to help solve the problem. A couple links: Castle BEC & Novak BEC's (3amp, 3amp HV, 5amp)

thanks for the info. but how come I didnt have this problem with other motors and 4ws? If im not using the 4ws there shouldnt be a problem with the servos should there? All i did was swap motors and now it stalls or basicly has no power till i unbind the wheels from the rocks. Its stumping me and is frustrating. could a bad or shorted battery cause this problem?

Are you running these packs separately or both at the same time.

That means the motors are wired in series, not parallel? Wire them in parallel (both ESC wires going to one motor, and then two more wires coming from the first motor to the second) and all your troubles should go away.

I had a problem once with dust getting into the brush hood. It made my brushes st way too tight not allowing enough contact with the comm as they wore down. I also had a motor that was assembled lopsided. The springs were touching the brush hood and could not push the brushes far enough.
