Default xtra long Gecko Clod

I was going to use the rear links from a Gecko Pro on both ends of my Clod to get an extra long wheelbase. Any thoughts on the pros and cons of doing this?

You'll just end up with an 18" wheelbase, if that works good on the terrian you like, go for it.

Thanks for the replies. I currently am having a machine shop making 1 inch wideners for the front and rear ends. the axles will be tool steel for strength. Ace has the right idea on widening the f&r ends. The axles will be tool steel. I want the extra wheelbase for a more scale appearance with jumbo swamp kongs.
