Hello all I just ordered my CR-01 today and cannot wait for it to get here i am counting the minutes! so here is what i got! CR-01 kit of course! (only the best) Novak rooster Crawler esc and 55t motor integy 7.2v 3000 battery futaba 2ph 2 channel AM/s3003 servo If anyone has any tips or suggestions for me i would love to get that! I am going to paint the body a light/sky blue (i had a coach in high school that had an old FJ in sky blue and i remember driving and riding in it and have fond memories of it!) so I will paint it that color but am going to bash it up a little bit get some rust spots and rub through on the fendors also some dents and what not on the roof! I am going to take tons of pics during the build and will post them on here! cant wait to show you guys! chris |

I'd use a different servo, they don't have enough power from my experience.

the hitec 645mg works nice in mine about 35 bucks Though you will need to get a different servo saver if you want to use one Ofna's metal top gas car savers work good Futaba servos also have a short lead wire, the hitec is longer and reaches all the way back |

I look at the axial and laugh the grip on this rig is amazing and with the 55 turn goat it can crawl anything! my buddys all have PTIs and i cant wait to show them up tomorrow!
