Default Introduction and Pics: CR-01 in Boppard, Germany

Hi,

I'm new to this Board and also new to Rock Crawling. Just last night I finished my CR-01 built. Besides the Mudslinger Tires and the rear suspension mod it's stock right out of the box. Just finished my maiden run in Boppard/Germany. This place is around 20km away from my home and I know it quite well from mountainbike riding, so it was a clear choice for the first run of my Land Cruiser. To make it short: I'm totally amazed how much fun it was. I was really sad when I went through the last battery pack and my gasoline bills will explode since I'm going to visit this place very often in the future ;). Pics say more than 1000 words (obviously I could'nt take pics of the best spots there, since taking pics and controlling the car at the same time is too much of a task for me...):

Greetings,

Michael

Where is Boppard? I lived in Baumholder for about 6 1/2 years. A buddy of mine is still over there and always looking for a place to crawl.

Good looking truck man. The crawling spot looks awesome too. That's some super sweet terrain.

Hi,

Boppard is about 25km south of Koblenz.

Here's a small video I made yesterday:

The quality suffered quite a bit from converting to YouTube, but I hope that not too much detail is gone now.

Greetings,

Michael

That spot is sweet looking, and the CR-01 looks great with the slingers.
