| Land Cruiser led headlights
Wired up some LED headlights in the stock L.C. grille and had a blast is the dark. Used a old energizer LED headlamp that had a cracked housing. Pulled the white LED's and resistors out and wire directly to my receiver with a switch. Headlamp used 3 AAA batteries so I should be close on bec voltage. Cheap trick for me as I already had it, but headlamps go for $15-$20. Led's fit with no mods to the Tamiya grille, just some wiring. Bright enough to play with, but I always want more. Maybe rock lights and a few on the roof? |
