| Hong Kong night CR-01 pics
All alloy except axels, I like the black against silver look. I have some RC4WD alloy wheels and Tamiya carbon decks, but too lazy to install them now! Waiting on the new lower links. I highly recommend the HR driveshaft, it fits perfectly and is built to last. I have another brand black steel one that was said to fit the CR-01, but it doesn't even slide on the transmission ends! :-( The 3 Racing chariot skids (important with a metal skid plate), axel clamps, and shock mounts fit immaculately and look great, just wish the shock mounts were silver. The most important alloy mods are the rear lockouts and new shocks, with the side frames and chariot skid coming in close second. The rest is really just bling. Junfac skids and 90mm shocks - much better than stock setup, very stable and can handle jumps easily. 4mm spacer on the bottom, and 2mm spacer on the frame are needed to prevent shocks from rubbing. Speed 11t brushless motor with stock pinion, great crawling power, and enough speed to have fun on a trail. |

Just the standard Tamiya 01 kit with tail and headlights! It does the job quite well.
