That's a nice looking cr-01 BUT, the body is way high up in the air, can't you go any lower ? |

if i lower the body the wheels wheels will rub against it when articulating.

Nice body, but its in monster truck mode with that lift. Sucks about the body hitting when articulating. Mine does that too with the standard body, I just let it happen.

I know it doesn't suit everybody, but a droop setup would allow the wheels to sit closer to the shell whilst sitting. The wheels then only drop away from the shell when crawling. I've been running my CR-01 kinda drooped - not drooped properly, just taken the springs off the RC4WD shocks. My motive was to temporarily fix the binding problems I had with some driveshafts, but I liked the profile it gave the vehicle, so I may stick with it. As far as I am concerned. I don't do a lot of bombing around, so the unsprung chassis doesn't get vibrated that much more than with springs, and anyway, the squishy tyres compensate for some of that vibration. |
