Reason I asked was because I hadn't seen anyone bother with a tuber from CR-01 parts.

Looks a bit odd right now.

Thinking the wheelbase will be about 11.25

K9popo made this frame. I picked it up from a member here and messed with it a bit then it sat on the shelf. Decided to do something with it.

Playing around with suspension/shocks.

new lower links or you gonna hack the belly up for clearance?

the nose looks a little odd, just seems like the axle is really forward compared to shock/frame. but looks like it could be a fun rig to just free crawl and enjoy the hobby with.

Will notch the belly for link clearance.

The front looks odd but this frame is small. Things would look crazier if I actually tried a 12.5in wheelbase and built it for comps.

For now the links are stock length and going much shorter on link length would suck, so it is what it is.

So yeah, definitely not a comp rig. Just something to go mess around with.

Here ya go, Robbob.

At this wheelbase it should be a turtle on rollovers - easy to get back onto tires.

My thoughts is that don't use those shocks with droop.
My experience is that they "hang" too much because they are to thin ane the oil don't flow enough.

But I love your build.

Thinner oil and faster valving could fix that.

Yeah thats right.
I only tried the Tamiya 300, but maybe Losi 35 would fix that.
