Novak Goat 18.5 with a 13 tooth pinion. wheels and tyres wise, I used to run with Losi rock claws on proline 8 shooters alot, but have since gone to oversized tyres. Weight wise 12 oz on front 8 oz in rear. Have got RC4WD X-locs with proline 2 stage memory foams, mounted on some DNA alloy sniper wheels, these tyres dont look much but they work for me. Weight wise, 16 oz in front 10 oz in rears. Just recently got a set of Panther Leopards with proline 2 stage memory foams, mounted on another set of proline 8 shooters. Weight wise 16 oz in front 10 oz in rear. The weight needs re-addressing as the panthers are seriously grippy. But they are very impressive all the same. |

Here is my setup: stock motor for now Sidewinder ESC on 3s lipo 645mg steering servo. Rock Claws with memory foam 16oz front and 8oz rear Hammers with memory foam weighted same as above Vise Crawlers with star cut foam weighted same as above Which tires depend on where we are running at the time. Rock Claws on granite. Hammers or Flatirons on sandstone Vise Crawlers for trail runs It works well for me now. I am surprised at how well my Unimog does against the Honcho. It looks top heavy but holds its own!!!!!! |

HH 35t Handwound, 18t pinion. Currently thinking of going to a 16t pinion, and then adding a cell to my nimh packs. As for tires/wheels, i run Rock Stompers on JConcepts for when im beatin around, and Rock Grabbers on 8 Shooters for when im crawlin or runnin in the snow. 6oz front in all front wheels, 4oz in the rear wheels. |

David_387 less tooth does = more power, longer run time. Here's what I'm running. 55t, 14t pinion, 2.2 chisel. My other has 45t, stock pinion and 2.2 stompers. |

Mine runs really slow with the 14t pinion. It could use some more wheel speed. My other one uses a 45t and stock pinion, plenty of torque and wheel speed.
