Default Using a CR-01 Transmission with other Axles

Hi Guys,

Just curious if anyone has tried using the transmission from the CR-01 kit with other Axles such as the AX10 or Losi comp crawler Axles with interesting results. Thinking about using the transmission in a more comp crawler application but the stock CR-01 axles look like they will get caught on the rocks alot.

Wanted to see what others may have done to combine the CR-01 transmission with say the Losi worm gear axles.

thanks!

My guess is there's too much reduction in the cr-01 trans to be viable with Losi axles.

it will work fine with ax-10 axles but with a losi it would move so incredibly slow even with a very fast motor since the losi crawlers transmission internal ratio before the pinion is .86:1

I put a set of AX-10 axles under a CR-01 chassis and trans, worked fine, it seemed like it was geared a little slower but I used it for a mud truck so a 27T with a 3s Lipo worked great.
