Default CR01 help

i just wanna see what anyone's opinion is on what shock setup works best on the CR01? i've seen them in pics both ways, just shocks and stock cantilever setup. i wanna know which works best and what shocks to use. i use mine for just basic trails/creeks and light crawling(nothing major) just an few rocks here and there up and down the creek bed. i don't have the funds to just go out and buy all different kinds of shocks, plus this is my first CR01. so i'm just looking for some help from the one's who have already tried different setup's. any and all help even about other parts of the CR01 will be greatly appreciated.

BTW i'm runnin stock esc and 35t motor.
here's a couple pics of it. it now has swamp dawgs on it.

i like the canti set up, they make it for a reason.it can be argued that just shocks works well, but i think it comes dwn to preferance.

I have been working on mine for a few weeks, tried a few different setups. I have never used the stock design, I did not like the springs between the chassis and differentials.

I have tried the Hot racing inner sprung air shocks, they proved to be not smooth enough, the built the stock shocks, added inner springs and 15wt oild. worked better, but the body lean bothered me. So now I have modified the stock cantilever set up and I am using the sway bars now. I have not tried it yet, I am going that tomorrow, If you are interested I will post results later.

I hope this helps you, don't be afraid to play around with your chassis. its a lot of fun to try different stuff out.

please let us know how it works, i must admit the canti set up looks much more toy-ish than just shocks, i'd love to see a leaf sprung CR01......
