Thanks,
The biggest problem i had to overcome was that i had to shorten the rear driveshaft, and when the rearaxle went completely down, the driveshaft popped out.
Got that problem solved now as well. Can't wait to test this thing!!

looks sweet as, you should drop the body right down, i have my slammed on the chassis, only a couple mm between the body and the chassis, its looks so much better and more scale with the shortened wheelbase, and you still keep all of your great performance

Do you have a pic of your FJ?
I don't think i'm going to lower the body, because now the tyres don't touch the body

Nice looking truck! I love that color, what is it? you have two tasks that are on my list. shortening the wheel base on the FJ really makes it look so much better. I would imagine the turn radius improves as well.

Thanks DRW,
The color is Tamiya copper, prrepare yourself to run into some trouble when shortening the wheelbase!!!
I think have got it all sorted out now, going on a trail this sunday,i think that day will tell if everything is ok!!

I have no idea if it a improves the radius,i haven't been able to drive it properly with longer WB!

How much did you shorten the links? Did you have any other trouble besides the drive shaft length?

The links measure 50mm,without the ball ends.
The only thing i had to do was remove the straight ball links from the upper mounts (chassis side)and replace them with bent ones from Axial

Hope this helps!

Changed a couple of things on my rig
Mounted Stampede springs on my G-made shocks and dropped the body

Thanks,She wasn't home when i took the pics!!LOL
I've been looking it over, what i would need for the shocks is the correct size springs, but softer ones.
And work with a limiter in the shocks

thats looks so much better with the body lowered, i am really loving the stance of your rig right now, maybe some really tall 1.9s would look sic on it?

Second last pic... "Ka Chowwww..." looks just like Lightening McQueen's body language...

Your cruiser is lookin very nice... The tyres scrub the guards when it's all twisted up though yeah..? Even more so when you turn the steer wheels I recon...

-land cruiser 110... Are they 1.9's on your cruiser pic above..? Coz they look nice too... Not so far off set as the stock cr01 wheels...
