Is there a benefit to running seperate coils/shocks in the rear as opposed to a single unit in the front? Just curious. I run sperate coils on my Jeep as well.

I run the coil overs in the front for a bit more travel because I have more room in the guards, the main reason for the coil shock set up is for scale looks and to limit the travel otherwise it still scrubs abit, it has also taken all of the body rollout that I use to have, so it has been a performance gain for me

10-4! my set-up rolls a ton, need to outboard the shocks on the axles a bit or something.

ive always run shocks with the coils and never got any body roll what so ever, and it also performs way better with the shocks, it has really good flex, but it doesnt have loads that it binds up and breaks something, the coil overs also eliminate alot of the roll too, im really likng thi set up, still have to drive it with the front coils overs yet

Hmm...I love the set-up on mine, but it really rolls. Makes for a fun drive as you have to plan things. Wonder why mine rolls so much - tuned out a lot of TT, but it's still soft side to side. ....the PL body is quite heavy compared to the Tamiya, and I still run the stock WB - wonder if that's where the differences are coming in.

My setup if you havent seen it - very similiar: http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/r...0272011006.jpg

Might be, mine is certainly lower, cut a bit off the springs, I also run a short wheelbase too, the coil overs definitely take all the roll out cause mine are on the stiff side so it functions really good together

Good set-up....I just wired up one of those winches on my Axial, and it works good. Doubted it would have the power needed, but it works pretty good.

I have a very similar set up for mine as well. The CR-Tuned motor transformed the low speed control.

my rig is quite heavy so i use a snatch block to double the pulling power of the winch.
