Anyone shorten the wheelbase from the rear? I was looking at the chassis and it looks like I can go either front or rear one step shorter. With that going with shortening the rear. Also, on that note has anyone lengthen the wheelbase? |

I've done both on various rigs. Longer, shorter, front, rear, etc. Rear gets a little tricky as it gets tight with the driveshaft angle.

Any real benefit to either? I suppose it depends on what one plans on doing with the rig for crawling or trail purposes. As most kits out of the box, it is setup as neutral as can be.

I usually run close to 13". Steep climbs my rig usually can't be touched. Break over is a different story..... ![]() |

Its give and take. A shorter wb helps breakover and maneuverability, at the expense of stability and vice-versa.
