| My Blackjack
Here's my blackjack build, different link design than I've ever tried before, and it works well. I narrowed the chassis to the same width as my SW3. I'm going to bend the front lower links for clearance, and lengthen the rear lower links to bring it back to 12.5" WB, after doing that. This will also stand up the front shocks a little more, while the rear axle will rotate forward to keep the rear shocks at the same angle. This chassis lowers the CG, and allows lots of center clearance, while still being able to slam the body. Specs for now, (if I comp it, it will have TLT axles under it and R2D) Axial axles Mamba Max & CCBEC Blackjack chassis Losi aluminum shocks front, Tamiya aluminum rear R2 with 55T handwound V10(tweaked) RC4WD Punisher shaft front JR DS8711 servo 10 cell 2/3A packs Need to get a full length skid for it. Will have fresh losi tires when they come back into stock, and the grappler body |

Wild!!! Glad to see people are still trying stuff. Wouldn't it have been easier to just post up a question about how people might think it would work to save yourself the trouble of actualy trying something...... Realy though looks cool. |

So are the fronts still straight as of now? That rear is wicked stretched lol. Reminds me of a motorcycle. For comps you choose tlt based on width? Those are punisher shafts right? I think this is the first time I have seen them on something comp related. Are they smooth. Sorry for the mess of questions. I actually think that tire combo would work, my claws slip a bit on the rear, reversed m2ks might work lol. Great job.

I'd also like to know why your prefer the TLTs over AX10s for comps? Love reading your builds too. This one looks interesting. Looking forward to seeing its progress. |

Very interesting set-up. Looks nasty, but if it works...than so be it. Any chance for some video? |

I assumed rear because He said he was bending the front and extending the rear. Didnt too much look at pics. Figured it would be set up so the fronts go up on a steep rock and pull up. My bad.

I have never setup a single truck the way it was intended, and I like to see if a chassis can work with more than 1 setup, which I think the Blackjack can do | |||||

I changed up the suspension a little, lengthened the rears a little and shortened the fronts. This stood up my front shocks a little more, which allowed me to run some lighter springs up front. Added an R2d tranny for dig, but will probably go with a driveline dig shortly, as I can't mount my dig servo to get a straight shot on my linkage. Also added a longer skidplate, and my comp body. Performs even better now. Going to swap in my comp TLT axles tonight, as the axials have too much slop in them for my taste, and I don't have all the aluminum upgrades for them either. A cool little sequence. Oh, and Eddy, I only got about 20 seconds of vid today before I broke my last plastic knuckle |

So are you gonna have an Ax10-SW3 setup using your other parts? Watched the video, wish I had rocks like that around my place. Setup looks capable. |

Looks nice, we need more body off shots now that you changed up the suspension. Is it more like a 50/50 setup now?
