Default Inner C-clips

So I have searched and not really found an answer. So I have to pop my front apart before this weekends comp and I am still running the treeclimber shafts--Now I have not broken one of them(went thru the smaller stockers) YET--and will be upgradding the front shafts next month. So I heard a rumor I can remove the inner c-clips so if I pop a front shaft I can just slide them out--is this true or is there something else I need to do?

Thanks for any input

add a short piece of fuel tubing inside each wheel axle to keep the axle shafts pushed in.
saves lots of time changing axle shafts thats for sure.

when your tired of breaking axles get some CVD's

another thing you can use is O-ring...put an o-ring in the stub shaft to take away the axle slop

yea the search dos'nt come up with too much. try " quick change axle " or something like that . anyway I'm not running the inner clips so all I have to do is pop off a knuckle and pull the axle. I also shimmed my axles while I was pulling the clips (changing a broken axle). so to answer your question yea you don't have to run the clips...
