Default FJ40 body on MRV

Default FJ-40 I see

The Jeep body you had looked great, but my family had a tan FJ-40 when I was a kid. I have loved them ever since. You've capured that beautiful tan w/white top to a T, brings a tear to my eye.

Keep up the good work!!!

i was trying to get close to the factory tan. Its just Krylon CAMO khaki ultra flat on the inside. i like it. I only wish i would had thought to paint the headlight bezel white too. oh well.

Red, you missed out there was a 10 year old about your size. Seriously the cousre was small but lots of fun. After I drove home the scenic route and some cool places to crawl in gilroy.

I really like the color personally. Not too flashy, something I might see rolling down the road in real life.

Well I thought about it but I narrowed the chrome wheels on the outer bead as well and if I did that the Rock Rings would not cover up all the cut surface. So you'd see the white plastic in the center. I like how the wheels are narrowed but It look better if I did it like the black & green ones.

Damn I wish I could find one of those bodies without resorting to getting a friend to ebay bit it for me. lol somewhre in a hobby store its collecting dust with a sticker of 19.99$ on it. T_T
I really miss the amount of hobby shops that San jose had. Sheldons, Castle etc etc and they had messes of stuff. Not just a limited selection of whats popular.
