Default little help please?

ok, i was digging through my closet and found a body i want to use for a scale crawler.......

the body is 7 1/4 inches wide and i dont want the tires sticking out more than an inch on each side.....

what axles could i use?

i want to use Imex Claw Dawg tires because they are 4 inches tal and i think this would look perfect on 4 inch tall tires........

would TLT axles with stampede wheels and the claw dawgs be 9 1/4 inches wide?

i guess i could always narrow the tires and wheels some.......

TLT axles should work for you as long as you pick the right wheel and tire combo to keep it as close to 9 1/4".
I currently have HPI Split 5 wheels and Proline Masher 2000 on mine. And without the wheel wideners mine measures 9 1/2".
That should be similar to the Claw Dawg. Masher 2000's are just less than an inch taller.
I've never tried Stampede wheels, but I think they have a larger offset than the HPI ones I am using.

I don't know of any axles that will give you the width you're looking for. A TLT with 2.2 wheels measures about 10 1/4" wide.

the front wheels and rear of the stampede are different. the rear ones offset go in deeper so its not wider and the fronts are pretty close to your HPI 5 spoke Starz.
