| Spirit axles
I was thinking of using the rear axles to make a crawler out of because my lhs has 2 spirts for cheap. There is a picture of the rear of the car showing the axle. |

I say go for it, it would be like clod axles but cheaper, and i know they are tought, i had one that i used with 2.2 paddles, 12 turn motor and 8 cells, it worked for a long time. i need to find that truck again. thanks for the reminder.

you could hinge the chassis in the middle and steer it like a front-end loader....

I say go for it. $20 sounds like an awesome price. Here is what i was thinking to make these axles steer... The gray is aluminum bolted to the axle that goes out to hold a steering knuckle (red) with a universal joint (blue). I think it would be awesome but my idea may have to be expanded on because it may be weak. |
