Default Comp Tuber "GT"

After building the last one for my brother Burrlytlt, I had to have one for myself. Its very close to the last one, I just made a few changes to the tube lines to make it look a little differnt.

The chassis is very colse to mininum spec. at 8.5long 3.25wide and a fat 3.75tall

Side shot...........

I still need a steering servo, ESC and a set of MSD wheels so i can mount my Bad-a$$-lands

Thanks for the good words the goal is too keep it clean and simple, It will be just a little over 5lbs with a 3rd of that weight in the wheels. this one was a PITA on the tube work, I had to cut it apart and weld it back togather a few times to get it straight but its all good now

For rollin stock I wil run badlands on MSD top guns most of the time, they seem to work really good on my brothers tuber and i think they look kick a$$ but I will also have my m3 mashers ready to go for certain types of rock

Small update...........

Made some changes to my lipos to get them to fit sideways between my front links. Most lipos have some wasted space around the wires, like balsa wood and masking tape between the balance taps careful routing and soldering made them over a 1/4 shorter with the wires out the side

also cut the body panles, the cover plate for the electronics is the bed of a tlt body welded all the 3mm nuts to hold them on. The tube work has been blasted and is ready for paint

Very Nice Mini....How did you get the bolts to stay in side for the front shock mounts....the screws to stay in the tube? Thanks. I am trying to build a tuber.

The tubes were taped to 3mm and then the studs were installed. when you weld on the tube with a mig, it shrinks the tube and holds the stud in.
