Default blackfoot axles?

I know some of you were trying to use blackfoot axles to widen your stance on the TLT. I was putting my axles together tonite and tried using a set of axles from an old super blackfoot I had. When I put the axles in the knuckles, and then slid them into the axle, the knuckle wouldnt go all the way in. Is there a difference between super blackfoot and blackfoot axles? Are you modding the axles some how to work?

these are the ones that i am trying to use
there being so hard to get right now i was only able to get 1 pair instead of the 2 i ordered
but, when i installed them in the rear of my truck they slid in without any problems
i have heard of a few trimming the axle side to help get a tighter turn radius
