cool tlt! next time you trim a new body, just score the lines you want to cut with a new x-acto blade without cutting all the way through the body. after you score it, just bend the lexan at the cuts and it will be super clean.

How does it perform? What are your plans for it? I just saw that body the other day when I was searching for my new body and though it'd look pretty cool on a TLT. Did you get your TLT ideas from rccar action? THey set their TLT up with ball cups too. |

I used my own custom chassis(wider and longer but alot lower profile. Fit a sampede tranny. T-Maxx and monster GT links. I may do another chassis... Something like the Bulu... Although this one crawls over anything. I'm just using these stock tires until i get My other pair of swampers here. Thanks, Cya p.s.- Never got that issue. |

you should cut off the running boards and fenders, then lower the body down

Even if it is for scale, there prolly isn't any crawlers out there that would use that style of running board. Unless you are just going for the scale TRUCK and not a scale CRAWLER I would hack off those boards and trim the fenders. By no mean do think that you should start Dirking your body or anything but moderate trimming looks custom. OR Just start cutting the hell out of it. Chop the top channel the body cut off the fenders and then paint it flat black and call it a Rat Rawler Last edited by Harley; 06-14-2005 at 10:04 PM. |

Scale Vehicle. When the body undergoes damage i will cut it up. But until then... Leaving it as it is. :T |

the reason i was saying you need to trim the fender and running boards off is because the way you have it setup right now it looks too tall it looks like the body is almost above the chassie if you trimmed the fender and running boards you can drop it down farther over the chassie and make it look even more scale than it is now |

I tired with and it worked great, I took them out and didnt notice any difference. So i just cut off a lot of foam material. So far i havent noticed any effects but i understand the concept so... I love the masher 2k's. Super soft compound. I could have waited for the moab's but i know the mashers are a winner. Thanks, Cya |
