Default New Tlt - setup and a few questions

I'm New to the forums, i guess a long time listener- first time caller, been stayin in the shadows, but now im out, and im ready to be active in it.

My Tlt is destined to arrive tomorrow and i cant wait. ive been preparing for its arrival for some time, and have picked up a 55t lathe motor, and made a huge tower order, mashers, esc, pinion, some other good things. we ran outta money though, so i couldnt buy my stretching stuff yet. I have some extra savage parts kicking around, and i was wondering if i could salvage..(damn hicks)...from the savage, like the links, i think theyre 93mm, for just a minor stretch for the time being. im definetly putting a pede tranny in it later whenever i can acquire one. I will also be half-assing a chassis, probly from plexiglass, from an old computer window i have. there are 2 of them, and are about .25" thick. any advice there would be great. but anyways, im just counting down till it gets here and i begin wrenching away. :-P
