| my stock buildup...for now
OK guys, got my tlt put together, stock for ri ght now, but soon to be modded to hell and back. as i built it, i didnt use the bumpers, but mounted a tierod to the rear steering servo plate, via an extra ball. i also locked all the diffs, and began playing with the suspension. this works all fine and dandy. now, my actual question, i wanna know how u can actually mount stadium truck, 2.2, wheels. mine hit the uprights in the last ball joint, not the one thats actually in use. am i going to need it later on? i guess im just gonna have to trim them, but any suggestions would be nice. |

Once you extend it and get some wideners you shouldnt have any more problems. Check out these, i just found them the other day http://gmade.net/skin/gmade/goods/pr...e=030000012286 And for some other wideners check out my comparison chart Widener Comparison Chart What tires are you going with? |

ive already got them in, im going to use the RPM clawz for the stampede and some masher 2k's. i wanted swamps but i couldnt find any for a reasonable price. and thanks for the tip on the wideners. i might try using the tg10 wideners, that is, if tower would ever get them in stock. u may not know the answer, but whats the difference in the front and rear tg10 axles, they looked pretty much the same.

My brother bought some TG10 axles from Tower when he first started building his TLT, and they are identical to the ones in the TLT kit. I dont remember where he got the idea from to try and use those but it was not accurate.

You shouldn't need wideners. Just use wide offset wheels or when you narrow the wheels, cutting off a section from the inside of the wheel will push the tire out.

i kinda want to widen it, because im going to stretch it, and i figure it would help with stability, but since i already have the wheels, i dont want to have to buy more of them, but how do i go about cutting them just in case.

This wheel will give you the most offset without wideners. My truck is 11.25" wide with these wheels. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXCAN2&P=7 |
