Default Too Thick?

I went to lowes today,and I got some 1/4" tubing.Is this TOO thick for a custom buggy-tupe chassis?Its for a tlt-1

1/4" is usually used for links. However, it really depends on how you apply it, ie will you have a lot of detail to the chassis, or will it be simple? On a big chassis, it would look great, on something smaller, it might lose the scale look. I'm not a tube builder, but I am a tuber fan. I see a lot of frames with 5/32 rod or tube used.

depending on your overall chassis size 1/4" is fine. My buggy was 16" long if I remember correctly and I know it was 6.5" wide. I think it worked very well.
