Default bordem and $hitty servo mnts...

Heres what some bordem and freetime makes when you have bad stock TLT servo mounts...
I actually thought of using the stock plastic little uprights that hold the servo on....*slaps him self for thinking bad thoughts and being lazy*

Its not the best looking but its rock solid now compared to the CRAPPY plastic

I had to scrape some of the under side for the top of the diff so it would lay flat.... may look crappy but hey its on the bottom and no one will c it

And with the servo attached

He he it took me 2 attempts on the plate and 3 on the uprights... but hey i had the time...

Lol i only used a
Drill
Hacksaw
permanent Marker
Vise Grips...

Did you kno that WD-40 will wipe permanent marker off a smooth surface...like aluminum lol learned the hard way...

I think this is what makes your crawler YOUR crawler....not some bought thing.... is fabrocating stuff... it makes you feel good lol

yeah, for your tools you did a great job. i have found that using vices and clamps really helps keep the work clean looking when its done. also, lining holes up is easier.

your finish really looks good, i like the angling on the servo plate.

yeah but you are your own worst critique..people have thought my tubers look good and i thought they looked like crap.

but anyway, the mounts look good. For the tools ya had, don't be hard on yourself. did a good job. as long as it works better, that is all that matters

lay the tranny down, even if your chassis has to be 4 inches wide. it makes it so stable, there is no comparing.

Lookin' good.

Don't worry about how good they look. That'll come with a little time, practice, and more tools.
