| project "ORANGE GLOW"
well i had a idea for some time now. had the New Bright 10" wb jeep body laying around here for bout 4 to 5 months now. but i wanted to be at least 12.5. so i cut the thing behind the doors and added some plastic. after bondo and sandin it i started to like it a lil more the chassis was a plate alumin that is 1/4" thick. hand cut with a scoll saw, yeah took a long time and alot of blade and serveral cans of beer. was goin to use those "wishbone" top link but after cuttin one i decided to pass, they took even longer to cut. so i put them on my girls jeep rig. the wheels was something i thought i would try. i took a set of beadlock wheels that had jacked up hexes and cut the rigs off of them and then took some wheely king wheels and narrowed them. put them together and hell they look pretty good the tires i got on here they had the small blocks already cut out on them so why not looks cool.tire and where together the shocks i got off the "toyz store" alumin piggy back TMaxx shocks with losi srpings so far the motor is 75t lathe motor and then the ESC is a stock AX10 i got off of ebay cheap. but i got a few more things to do roll cage and alumin plate over the back have and a clear plexi plate over the eletronics. might do a exo skeleton on it not real sure yet. ththis is it sofar. will have more pics later after i get more done on it |

well the body sold, so i had this new bright dodge body. cut the bed off and the front fenders. fabbed up a roll gcage for it, well my buddie who thinis he needs it is come by tomoorrow to buy i guess, told him he needs a 55t to 75t for clearance , added a set of Junfac TLT axles braces. looks and runs great. had to test out back on my LIL rock pile. oh the paint... well it wqs kinda a fluke. i went to mask the orage off and i went to readjust the tape line and it ripped of some of the orange, okay no biggie turned out nice......NOT PERFECT though got some rock rash in it, but gonna repaint the roll cage in the am........... |

I prefered the jeep too. At first I was like "why's it called orange glow"?" Then scrolling down I was like "oooh, now I get it!"
