Default My Death Metal Garage DCV/pro TLT-based build

I had this tube chassis built for me a couple of months back and finally had a chance to start building it. Still need a few parts to complete it, and I need to find some drive shafts that are longer than the Stampede shafts or shorten the front end a little. They are connecting, but just barely.

The specs so far:
DMG DCV/Pro chassis
R2D tranny
Mamba Maxx ESC
Integy 55t motor
3Racing shocks (t-maxx), all will be semi-droop inner sprung like the front is now)
Mayhem Double Phatty wheels w/Panther Cougar tires (currently on the Axial)
TLT-1 locked axles w/bearings and straight axles in the rear
Axial blue links

Here's where it sits right now, until I get a few more small parts to finish the links and figure out the drive shaft issue.

Thanks guys. The only thing holding me up now is getting the link couplers. Backordered from my favorite shop right now...

Nice.
I have a question though, am I the only one that thinks that this chassis lookslike a chassis made for Batman?

Those are nice I also like the fact they give you more than one place to mount the shocks at.

I hope I find some time here soon! Now I've been challenged to actually finish this build.

Did you solve that issue ? You can use T-maxx drive shafts or go on with the Stampede ones using a trick. I read it somewhere on this forum and it consists of using two males and a female for each drive shaft. You cut the head of a female and glue it on a male in order to have a longer shaft.

Hope this help

I ended up just cutting all my links 1/4" shorter and it worked out just fine. Actually have a couple little things left and it will finally be done. Been working on this since early June!

Those wheels are going back on the AX-10 soon and the Mayhem DP wheels will go on this. I actually picked up the RC4WD wheels from RPP Hobby, who seem to have them more often than RC4WD does.

Finally finished getting the front end together. Still need to figure out how to get a little more flex out of this, because it's a little tight for my tastes. Anyway, only other problem so far is I lost one of the panel screws from the side panel. Those buggers are tiny!
