how much?? just get a Pede tranny, some 2.5 maxx axles and if you want, you can run the stock TLT plates too... but you gotta do stuff, and i dont remember where the thread is.

(You can get a pede for $40 and the lines for ~$10

Haha, if it wasnt a good deal, why would i be considering it?

What im trading for it is worth the equivalent of 25 dollars.

I found out the tranny is fine, it actually is a gear diff, even uses the exact same size gears as the rustler tranny, but has a metal plate.

well almost any tranny will work as long as you lock the diff and gear it properly.

Dang, I swear, people can't think outside of the box.

Here's the deal for ANYONE else wanting to know. Pede tranny's are great. Really they are. And an awesome tranny for TLT's, BUT they've gone from $20 for a tranny with ball bearings to $40-60 equally equipped. So, unless you can find a killer deal on a pede tranny, buy another tranny that you can get parts support for if you can get a better deal on it. Be creative. Losi and AE tranny's work. An emaxx tranny would work, you'd just have to lock out second gear. Its sad that a two speed, two motor tranny is now worth less than the pede tranny. Heck, even a TXT tranny could probably work.

I bet the tranny on the street corner would even work.

I say run the ultima gearbox, but I would be wary as to parts availablity.
