The more I look at it the more I think I want to shorten it a bit, but maybe with the 2.2's it will be a little better. Anyhow, pics work now. Enjoy.

Alright, as most of you said and as I looked at it more I thought that it was too long for how wide it is gunna be. So with new shocks and some shock limiters this is where we are at just a tad over 1 foot. |

Before anyone flames you like crazy... Your VMG is long than my TLT, and I plan to shorten the wheelbase on that. With those tiny tires, you'll get hung up up more than a black man in tights. Make some shock mounts that mount those shocks higher, or better yet, put an ad in in the Wanted forum for some TLT shocks. Should be able to get them for $15. That's all I'd pay for them. |

Alright, I'll give tlt's a try and see how those go. BTW I plan on running 2.2s but still your right that thing is too long still.

Spring cups should just be a plastic tree from tamiya. The shocks/springs were also used on the tamiya juggernaut. That looks alot better in my opinion. The shocks are just the right size for the rig and you're able to shorten it a bit. I'd suggest going with 2.2 buggy tires, with actual 2.2 truck tires, that thing will be dogging. |

thanks, I've found four more tlt shocks so I bought them off the guy for 15 shipped since I figured I could use spares. I'm not gunna go with 2.2's until I setup the gear reduction, but once I have that it will be 2.2 moabs.

The lastest but not really greatest. Well I've made progress but not much, I've made a aluminum bracket for the upper link mount on the axle, made the drive shafts, mounted the servo, and messed with the shock mounting, and narrowed my set of wheels. |

These are the tires I used to run on my VMG. They are rear rc10b3 rims with a 1 1/4" hole drilled in the middle with the stock wheel inside. I got great off set this way.Worked better than my frinds 2.2 dirt hawgs. My VMG before i sold it. It's wheelbase was just under 9". |

I got my rims setup and I slide a pair of j-hawgs on and I am very pleased with the results, I also started work on my scale clod chassis (I know it really isn't that good, but it's my first try at building a frame from scratch I tryed to do it like the orange crush truck is done but it is nowhere near as good, but maybe with some grinding and paint it will look a little better) Here are hte pics. |

LOL, oh yeah 8th is about the best I think it wsa 8th of 6th some hs chick jumped her civic like car off the hill and when it landed it blew out all 4 of her tires and she smashed into a house and knocked it off it's foundation. Thanks for the comment, I need to setup my crossmembers and then grind and paint it, I'm thinking about red or dark blue for the frame. BTW where in Or do you live??
