Default MIP CVD cross pin alternative

Anyone found an alternative replacement for the pin that goes through the ball cup of the MIP cvd's? RCP usually has them in stock but of course, now that I broke my last one, they're currently not in stock. Thought about possibly cutting down a tiny allen wrench or drill bit but just wondering what others have come up with.

Thanks,

The MIP CVD kit for the Associated RC10GT uses the same cross pin and coupling as the TLT CVD MIP makes for RCP Crawlers.

Here's one for sale on ebay. It is possible that any 1/10 scale rebuild kit might work.

you can use a drill bit shaft. They make them in all sizes you'll just have to cut it down to length and it's probably better steel.
