Yes it can be done. The swx should be very close to the sw3, so there is no reason it can't be done.

Really you can do anything you want. You will need to get some linkages for the tlt. Probably easiest to use all thread and ball ends.

yeah I wouldn't buy the full kit. Just get the side plates and skid.

I have an email from Dumont that says the TLT axles will work great with the SWX and the AX10 tranny will bolt right in (of course), so that's my plan.

I believe Bender also said the links will be the same as a SW3. I'm going to upgrade as soon as they become available. |

Hey Bender, Can you give me the parts (or sizes) for the links I would use with the new chassis and TLT axles to take it out to standard wheelbase? I plan on ordering the chassis as soon as it's out, but I'll get some of the other stuff now. Thanks |

| The standard chassis kit with links will put you at the right wheelbase. |

I know this should be obvious. Do you mean using the SWX chassis kit with the stock TLT links, I should be ok?

| By standard chassis kit, I mean the complete SWX chassis kit, that includes links and standoffs. The lower link mounting points on the TLT axles and Axial axles are very close to being in the same spot. |

So the 74.5mm links connecting the SWX chassis and my TLT axles will give me the length approaching 12.5" wheelbase? I know I'm slow. Have pity on me. |

Who am I kidding? This will not be my last question. Should I assume that I will be able use the Axial drive shafts to connect to the Tamiya diff input shafts? |
