Default MAN what a F up

LOL here the story... The day b 4 i go on a one week crawling rampage up at Mammoth mountain i decide to put a 19t chamelon pro 2 motor in my crawler... well me being stupid and not listing to my thoughts (BEN YOU ARE GONNA BREAK SOMETHING!!!) i go and run it.. it was a blast untill i clipped the edge of the garage with the tip of my front left tire on the way back in with a full battery at full speed...well just to say i broke an axle housing where the Knuckle is held in place... so i had to think of something QUICK!!! and here it is

Here are the braces that i made one for da bottom in place of the part i broke and one to support the top...

Top shot

Backside

And bottom

The thing worked WONDERS... i never had a single prob with it even after a week of bashing up at Mammoth.... LOL that same day i broke it i ordered 2 new axle housings from Tower.... they got to my house 2 days after i left for vacation and i didnt even pay for 2 day shiping... BUT these new axle housing are better... the allow for more steering I AM NOT JOKING Tamiya must have change the axles a little bit... the place where the nuckles hit the axle is actually smaller!

Any ways just thought i would share my makings for an idea if someone ever needs it lol
