Default "Take 5" This one seems a little more worthy....

"Take 5" which has become my name for my TLT. This is the 5th version of my TLT chassis, hence the name. Summary-

v1- Stainless Steel, pure crawler inspired, Bulu design (too weak)
v2- Acrylic(marked as Lexan, hence the mistake). Same Bulu 4 link, just with more mounting options (cracked)
v3-Steel, basic trapezoid, crawler inspired( too heavy, weighed as much as a 6 cell pack)
v4-Polycarbonate, crawler w/ mounting options for electronics, shocks, and links(cracked)
v5-General Aluminum(3031...something like that), crawler link design w/ changed link mounting

Wheelbase is 13.5inches long from axle to axle.

The wheelbase is perfect for Maxx or 1/10th bodies. I have my old jeep, and a stock Ultima body that I've cut up. Both fit perfectly, i just havent put body posts on yet.

Battery mounts on the front links w/ a velcro strap. Links are Revo links, they are actually very fancy but give better movement then Maxx links. You can see i have a set of rear maxx turnbuckles (which ironically I broke one on my maxx).

I need to pick up a set of sliders to extend the stampede sliders. And just install electronics. once that is done, we're good to go.

Specs-
TLT Axles Locked Diff
DTX Wheels
Masker 2ks
Trimmed Foam
Revo Links
Maxx Links
Maxx Shocks
Stealth Tranny (works, for only 16 bucks)
550 Johnson Motor
2WS
Stampede sliders

Pictures-

Yeah, i plan to...

right after I fix my buggy, and my maxx...

I love my TLT, but I've got too many damn cars.

I'll likely just move the links so I flip the servo horn and have two small links. I've seen a few people do that. Anyone have any ideas about that.

Revo links, not maxx links sim.

You might want to swap your top links and your bottom links. the axle leaning the way it is now (caster angle) will put your driveshafts in a serious bind. If you lean the axle forward, you don't get too many negligiable effects.

Got it fixed and did a little crawling, i dont have the full crawler experience cause i have no, or little steering. But either way, its fun.

These were at 10 o clock outside on my front lawn. Not a single one is a poser shot, I went up the rock and managed the throttle to get a picture. The rock face is about 70 degrees, almost vertical. This is my only RC that can get up onto this rock.

Basic shot in the street, my electronic setup along w/ body posts.

The obstacle

Front wheels gripping

Hell yeah, you see that. Rear wheels are gripping and pulling up. Thats some ORCRC shi-bleep right there.

And were up...

As I said, none were staged, i didnt even touch the truck.

*UPDATE*

Got some video this morning. Unfortunately I lost the server hosting space I had previously used.

Contact me via e-mail or AIM if you wanna see it. If anyone has some spare hosting space they could lend me that would be helpful.
