how do you know how many cells your battery is

count em... though the battery is/should be shrink wrapped, you should still be able to count the "cells", they should look something like a cylinder, or AA batteries, etc. or post up a pic... I'm sure someone could offer more help then... |

You can count them, or you can hook up a meter. It should be about 1.2v per cell.
