| First Crawler build
After picking up a TLT from a local racer a few years back I had the intention of building up a crawler but never got around to it until one of our local tracks installed a killer indoor crawling course. After seeing Del Monte's pics of his Bastard Jr I knew that's the direction I wanted to head. I didn't get any build pics, but here are the results. RCP Bastard Jr. Chassis .040 Alum. body panels TLT Axles full of RCP components Losi shocks w/ RCP droop springs Traxxas links and driveshafts Axial Transmission geared 87/12 Tekin Fx-r, Integy 55t motor 8 cell 2/3a 1400mah battery Hitec 645mg servo Pro-Line beadlocks w/6oz weight front and 3oz rear. HB Rovers w/ Panther soft inserts narrowed to 2" |

Just an update and a little Diy servo mount fix. After upgrading the servo to a 7955TG I managed to break the servo plate mounts off the axle. I grabbed some 16ga stainless I had laying around and using a couple clamps and the BFH I made a bullet proof mount, I hope. |
