Default My RBX TLT.......

Still needs some tweaking. I want a longer WB it's only 11" right now and I need to get the chassis lower to the ground
Specs are...
RBX laydown chassis
Pede tranny locked
Integy lathe motor w/12T pinion
Pede driveshafts
BBY 1/4" links
BBY link mounts
Proline Moabs that need the foams to be cut!
Ofna 2.2 wheels narrowed just a bit!

Here are some pics remember it's not done yet and needs tweaking so don't make fun of me too bad!

Any suggestions would be great!

When you put in the longer Dubro 4-40 Heavy duty ball links the ride height will drop and the WB will go out to 12.5 I can only see some of the pictures.

looks good. but you may need them longer ball-ends.

if you want to beef up your steering these drop right in to replace the center link.

what i do is keep the stocker knuckle to servo link and just put a traxxas ball end on the one side going to the knuckle. havent had any problems with bending it. (yet)

Pics work fine for me.

Ride height is too tall, wheelbase may be a little short.

All depends on how it performs.

try a softer spring on the shocks, they look waaaaaaay to stiff. that will give you both a LCG and a longer wheelbase.

Any idea where I can get springs that are softer?

I used these then drilled them to 1/8" and tapped them all to 4mm. 4-40 threads will bend. From what i've seen. Pics no work for me either

Do you sell pairs also or do I need to order 2 packages of 12 to do the whole truck?

I will break up a set to make the 16 you need.

RCKJeep it is rare that I bend the 4-40 Black screws, I use them on the biger 16.5 inch TXT and with the LST, MGT and Big Moabs they work fine. On the smaller TLT with 2.2 tires no problem. I think the only time Iever had any bending was when we ran the Jumbo Kongs!

I would,

1. Lower the body
2. Make the rear links about 1" longer then the front for a 60/40 setup
3. Make your center clearance at about 2 3/4" or 3" and your wheel base at around 12.5"
4. Cut the centers out of your foams and use them, then add lead shot to your front tires.
5. Shave your diffs.
6. Move your steering links above the knuckle mounts.
7. Move your rear steer lock out much higher.
