Default 2.2 with lights

I just put a set a lights on my 2.2 rig. They give it a nice scale look. They are also aluminum so I don't have to worry about them breaking in a roll over.

Looks good. And you are right, they won't break off in a roll over, they will just rip out of the body;)

Maybe if you put some kind of plate under the body. You wouldn't be able to see it, but the lights wouldn't tear up the body in a roll over

Let me put an end to the talk of having the lights ripped out in a roll over. I took the truck out for a crawl this evening and just as I started home it rolled. Not just a single roll, but the kind of roll that just does not stop rolling. The damn thing rolled and rolled and rolled and then just like in the movies it rolled over a cliff . After it went over the cliff I could still hear it rolling. I finally caught up to it about 200 feet later. The body was fine, the lights were fine, but the front axle was shredded along with the front servo . I don't think I will be able to get parts in time for the comp this weekend.

Tony,
Maybe we can get together in a week or so once it is fixed.

It actually does get quite a bit of light on the ground in front of it. Once I have the front axle repaired I will take a picture.

Damn! Now I'll have to put some lights on my truck so I can go crawling in the dark with you.

Looks good. Sucks about your axle.
